Too frequently, traditional stone walls are being repaired using cement which does not allow the stones to "breathe", often leading to quicker decaying, less stability, internal damp problems, cracking and freeze damage. To avoid this I use traditional methods and lime, meaning your wall will not only last longer, but look and age better too.
If your wall is showing signs of wear and tear, cracking/leaking or even internal damp is showing within your home then you may benefit from a repointing service. This will help bring your home back to its original beauty and functionality.
This can range from replacing a few stones in an existing wall all the way up to rebuilding a wall that has collapse.
After the wall is repaired you won't be able to tell its a new wall because of where I use traditional techniques
New stone walls can be built using isle of wight stone or stone from the mainland whatever style you prefer I can cater to
Repair of old capping as well as capping for a new wall, all different types: slabs, cock & hen, crazy pathing, half round, capping stones etc
Ivy causes a lot of damage to a wall, as it grows it forces itself into the mortar leaving gaps. It will then grow inside the wall.
This can cause a wall to collapse if left untreated for long enough
